I have been pursuing this
I have the SAMSUNG EVO 950 PRO in a SABRENT EC-PCIE
My computer gets past the bios screen but hangs after the VERIFYING CMI DAT display
I am looking for help .
Thank-you

Welcome to the Win-RAID Forum!
How did you try to install the OS onto the NVMe SSD and which OS is it?
Is it possible, that you got the message “Verifying DMI Pool Data” instead of “VERIFYING CMI DAT”? If yes, I found >here< a solution.
Good luck!

I did not install an OS on the NVME yet.
I have a working WIN 10 on HD. After inserting the SABRENT with 950 PRO into any of the PCIE slots the ‘booting’ will hang.
You are correct about DMI/typo.
Which are your BIOS settings regarding the Storage Controllers?
If other BIOS settings do not solve the problem, I recommend to try another M.2>PCIe adapter. Why did you choose a Sabrent one?
I did go back and looked at the bios.
AHCI
And I had success.
I have a working OS WIN 10 LTSC on Gigabyte X58 UDR3/SABRENT EC-PCIE/SAMSUNG EVO 950 PRO
No additional files or boot loaders.
Once the windows LOGO appears the OS is 10 seconds and UP.
I’m surprised really.
I have been at it for a couple of weeks based on your threads.
Thank-you
