I want to use i3 9100f SRF7W
thank you bro
@svarmod - Good to see you back, and thank you from everyone for the update!
I was reading the change log, and have two questions when you have some time to answer
11.7.0.3307 | COR | Cut << What is āCutā mean
What is NVME Fix used to do? Before, I thought this meant āDo NVME mod/insertā, but now I see itās about removing something
@Lost_N_BIOS
Cut - means literally cut.)
Original ME_COR (about 7Mb at default) was cleaned with ME_cleaner and size was additionally reduced after - to fit in 2Mb space into most bioses (similar with this).
NVMe fix - now just deletes 1 module to solve NVMe and 8-threads+ compatibility problem. In v 0.85a it completely replaces internal NVMe driver to Express version (-3 / +1 GUIDS)
@svarmod - Thanks for the info. I was not aware of any NVME/8T+ issue, so Iāve never used the NVME fix on any version, luckily seems OK so far for all users Iāve made BIOS for
Hi do you have ready solution for BIOSTAR TB250-BTC ver 5.12. I wan to use i3-9100F SR7W. Any solutions? I just bought that cpu and found that my mobo doesnt support it. Anyway if i burn something on mobo i will buy new anyway so i can try to make it work anyway. Or maybe you have ready bios i will be appreciated.
Thanks for help. I have a bios with date of 27/11/2017
What is this NVME compatibilty issue? Can you please elaborate? I have Dsankeās mod for the Z270 Apex with a 9700K. Would I be susceptible to an NVME compatibility issue?
Thank you
@krystianv13
Try this one. Use SPI programmer to flash.

@davidm71
If you use Z370 APEX bios port (I guess you do) - itās defenitely not your problem. NVMe fix requires only for some original 100/200 bioses and only if installed CPU has 8+ threads.
Canāt i just use it with usb update? I mean update bios like original bios but with your file?
1815.12.0.2021 its my version
Hi everyone.
I have a 6700k and a Asus z170 maximus impact viii
I saw several videos and tutorials and I have the end to end picture of the procedure.
Iām planing to get a 9900k
Iām not good with soldering, so I will use the cpu pin mod thru tape and conducting ink.
Im just confused about the bios flash topic
Asus max impact viii has the back usb flash port but I got to see in a video that you canāt flash any bios due to protection. So there is two ways of doing it.
Get a programmer and do it on the board chip or do some soldering on the chip to override the protection.
Canāt I use a bios from someone who already mod this board to a 9900k with the same step?
Any soul could send me the bios or clear my doubts?
Because I also saw a link that allows to flash any biosā¦
@krystianv13
Itās ME driver version, but we need ME region version. Use this tool for checking.
If it will shows version 11.7.0.2xxx or lower - you can flash bios-region of modbios through AFU from Win or DOS.
If it will shows 11.7.0.3xxx or higher - you need SPI programmer to flash modbios fully.
No any other options.
@Vapochilled
Here modbios M8i 2202 for any consumer CFL.
Use SPI programmer to 100% correct flashing, but insert your MAC, S/N and UUID before.
Flashback method requires capsule restoring and some onboard soldering/shorting work to reflash all regions.
@svarmod
Version of ME 11.6.10.1196 and my bios version is 5.13.
So what are the next steps? my new cpu is i3-9100f B0. SR7W
@krystianv13
Nice.
Now you can use AFUWINx64 to flash modbios with command:
Ā
afuwinx64 modbios.bin /GAN
Ā
Thats all.
@svarmod and flash with the file which you send me before?
And i should take that new bios file to the AFU folder?
---------------------
I did what you said but its not working. Erasing veryfing 100% done on afu, restart, inserting new cpu nothing happend. Pc just shut down. Old cpu is working i assume i have to get new mobo for new cpu
@krystianv13
Donāt hurry. Make current bios dump with FPT and give it to me for checking.
Command:
Ā
fptw64 -d backup.bin
Ā
@svarmod https://easyupload.io/ys3383 here it it is.
Its after the /GAN modded bios. You know extracting checking erasing went 100% and it was done but new cpu does not start
@krystianv13
Modbios wasnāt reflashed.
Try again with AFU using command:
Ā
AFUWINx64 modbios.bin /P /B /N /X /SHUTDOWN
Ā
