Once again thanks for the U9 BIOS, the board looks visually great and the stock features are not bad at all! If nothing changes in between, I will use the U9 BIOS on a D4M4 board next year.
However, I think that things should almost always be looked at objectively. My ZX99EV3 has probably booted well over 100 different BIOSes in this calendar year alone, so I honestly believe I know more than most people on the planet around this very specific boot time issue I mention. It seems to be USB related, since the B4 boot code is shown for a long time, and keyboard keeps connecting/disconnecting. The below list goes from extremely slow (~30s extra) to slow (~10s extra) once CSM is disabled:
- Jingsha X99-8D3
- Jingsha X99-D8
- Jginyue X99-TI D4 PLUS
- Machinist X99-U9
The BIOS for the two Jingsha boards at the top are very interesting. TPM 2.0 actually works, although the BIOS is from 2019~2020.
