Has anyone managed to run a coffee lake on Sabertooth Z170 Mark 1?

Has anyone managed to run a coffee lake on Sabertooth Z170 Mark 1?

Works fine on the non Mark 1, so should be fine here as well I would assume

Thanks! maybe i should buy a I3 9100F and have a try before i buy a I9 9900k

What you should purchase first is CH341A + U Type Flat IC Extractor, so you can actually properly flash in the entire MOD BIOS
Then whatever CPU you want, no need to purchase cheaper one first, there’s no reason it wouldn’t work on this board like it does for ALL other Z170 boards

You will need to remove the armor to access the BIOS chip, it’s directly above the second PCIE slot

Thanks alot! I’ll order those part right away

You’re welcome! Then you’ll be all set, once you get a dump, send me dumped BIOS and I will make you a new one to program in.
Here is guide on how to use, I think he didn’t show BIOS chips in this guide, but you treat chip like it’s a cable as you see in this guide. Always be sure notch in stock and chip match up, and notch side of chip has Pin1 for the guide/cable example.
[GUIDE] Flash BIOS with CH341A programmer

Here’s software bundle. When you open each software version, always go to “Auto” function and uncheck erase/blank, that way you don’t accidentally erase anything before you are ready.
You can do that without anything attached and then close, and it will stay that way for each

Also, once you remove the cover and can see the BIOS chip, give me the ID and I can tell you if you need to use a certain software version or other than exact ID

Thanks a lot  I’ve ordered the parts so I’m just waiting now. BTW will my 16x PCIe slot work with this? I’ve seen a few people having problems with the PCIe slots

So I’ve bought the i9 9900k
Just waiting for the SPI programmer from eBay
