I talked to a guy and he said Acer restricts some ram manufacturers by porpuse since they are not partnered (not 100% sure about that, but I mean, if on pc works any ram by any manufacturer, why many of the notebooks won’t?) I don’t know if it is possible to use this ram by changing settings on the computer/bios, If it is I would like to know how or if anyone can make another bio version for this situation.
Current RAM stick on my notebook: Smart Modular DDR4 16gb 3200MHz (1600MHz) [Slot #1]
The ram that I wanna add on my notebook:
Hyper X Impact 16gb 3200MHz [For Slot #2] - HX432S10IB/16
I already tried switching my hyper x ram to slot 1 and removing the smart modular and no success, I tried everything in my acknowledgment
If necessary I can send further info about my Acer notebook
