Help Modding flashing asus a55vd - SX400H Hyperthreading

hello everyone,
my laptop has HYPERTHREADING enabled and hided on BIOS, and i cant disable it.
i have an i7 3630QM Quadcore cpu, i’m missing lots of performance because of hyperthreading.
i contacted asus and they didnt give me a solution.
i have extracted the bios from the system and edited it with amibcp.
but when i try to flash it with easy flasher application from Bios, it says the bios file is too old.
i dont know how to do it. i’m going to attach the moded file just in case some of you can check it out.
thank you in advance for any advice

its actually the 411 bios version. i tried to change the build date. but the EASY FLASH tool recognizes the original date not the new one.
so i cant flash it.
i just need to unlock hyperthreading

Welcome at Win-RAID Forum!

Since I don’t have any experience with this sort of BIOS modding, I cannot help you myself, but hopefully one of our experts has a tip for you.

I have this problem too, but for an another option. It’s also dangerous because on laptop there are no recovery options.
But there is another way for editing bios in ROM mentioned here:
http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php…ll=1#post410987

Please inform me if you could find a way for flashing and also the results.

i need to be really sure that it will work and dont F*** it you know,
asus support is utterly worthless

id like to find and experienced or a proper asus programer, id even pay with no problem, but asus doesnt even give me any contact to deal with,

The link was correct, but your browsers Smart Redirect Add-On redirected you.
This is the link: http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php…reinstall-Win-8
If you just copy and paste the link, it will work.
Most interesting is the post #24 of the ROG.ASUS thread.
