I am a newbie in the RAID area. I am using RAID 10 on windows 8.1 .
I am facing frequent slowdowns.
What should be the optimal RAID and windows settings.

Without any informations about your specific hardware (mainboard/chipset/storage drives) and software (BIOS RAID modules/in-use RAID driver) configuration, I cannot give you any help.
Further questions:
1. Why do run an outdated OS?
2. Why and how did you create a RAID10?
3. Which one is your system drive (where the OS is installed)?
