So I have a laptop that turns of every 30 mins and Im following the procedure in the sticky post. To quote "General Notice: Be careful of what firmware your download relevant to your system. First, make sure that you know what series it is (examples: Z77 → 7-series, B150 → 100-series). Then run MEInfo Tool and check the "FW Version" line to determine your (CS)ME firmware version (examples: 22.214.171.1246 → v8.x, 126.96.36.1995 → v9.1)." . Where do I download this tool? is it something that every computer already has. Google links me to this thread on this forum "https://www.win-raid.com/t134f38-Tip-Use-of-the-Intel-MEInfo-Tool-under-Win-RTM.html". Sorry if this is basic but this is all new to me. Thanks
Nevermind guys, I found it.
