How to add Xeon E5 1680 v2 support to Gigabyte G1 Assassin 2?

Hello together,

I have tried with UEFItool and with the UbUtool (-> updated microcode) to get an Intel Xeon E5 1680 v2 to work on a Gigabyte G1 Assassin 2 Motherboard.
But still it does not work.
I have Changed with UEFItool this DXE drivers:
Cpudxe form different Gigabyte Motherboards that support Xeon CPU

an Intel Xeon E5 1660 v1 that works fine with the Gigabyte BIOS G1ASSAS2.12w
When I change CpuDxe Driver as mentioned, 1660 v1 boots up but the 1680 v2 stucks in a boot loop with no beep Code and does not post anything.

My Question is do i have to add / Replace other DXE Drivers like CoreDxe or also the CpuPei drivers and so on to get the Intel Xeon 1680 v2 to work?
Does anyone have some Experience with it and can support me?

THX for any advice

EDIT by Fernando: Thread title shortened (was too long)

the 1660 is sandy bridge-e and the 1680 v2 is ivy bridge-e. make sure you’ve updated the BIOS to support ivy bridge CPUs.

Did you used Meltdown/Spectre patched ucode ?

Did you got able to install 1680 v2 to this motherboard? I Have the same issue
