I transplant MSI Z370 BIOS to Z170 Z270 B150 B250 and other models to support 8700K. But after the transplant, if the main board’s sound card and network card, they can be perfectly compatible, but a bit of sound card or network card is not the same, will cause the sound card can not be identified or the network card can not be identified! Can this be solved by changing the related modules through UEFITOOL? How can they get them to work?
1, I modify the MSI Z370 KRAIT GAMING BIOS, so that it can be used on the MSI Z170 KRAIT GAMING motherboard, in addition to the sound card is not normal, the other can work normally!
The sound card of MSI Z370 KRAIT GAMING is “Realtek ALC1220 ALC1220 decoder chip”.
The sound card of MSI Z170 KRAIT GAMING is: “Realtek ALC1150 ALC1150 decoder chip”.
2, I modify the BIOS of MSI Z370M MORTAR, so that it can be used on the MSI B150M MORTAR motherboard. In addition to the network card is not normal, the rest can work normally.
The network card of MSI Z370M MORTAR is: Intel, I219-V, Gigabit, NIC.
The network card of MSI B150M MORTAR is Realtek RTL8111H Gigabit NIC.
