How to force Network Card to Auto Negotiate automatically with 1Gbps?

There is no auto Negotiation option listed in the Broadcom NetLink ™ Gigabit Ethernet 15.6.1.3 although it supports 1Gbit Speeds. MB Rock x79 EXTREME 4.

How can I force to always use 1Gbit Speed?
My router has its own firmware it does not offer Link Speed Configuration.

You shouldn’t change to a certain speed unless you have Connection issues.

Which vendor&device ID has your NIC? Which router?
