How to Install Win7 x64 onto HP Victus with Ryzen 5 CPU?

Hello everyone,

I am attempting a very risky task: installing Windows 7 x64 on a modern HP Victus laptop. I am aware of the limitations, including the lack of mobile RTX 2050 drivers, but I want to make the base OS functional.

My motherboard is strictly pure UEFI with no CSM or legacy support, so I am trying to get a GPT installation.

Here are my specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 8645HS
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 Mobile / AMD Radeon 760M iGPU
Platform: Pure UEFI (No CSM option in BIOS, Secure Boot will be disabled)

I am looking for guidance, modded drivers, or specific threads covering the following integration blocks for NTLite:

  • ACPI Patch: I need a patched acpi.sys that can bypass the A5 BSOD on modern AMD Hawk Point platforms.

  • USB 3.x Drivers: Modded AMD USB 3.1 Controller drivers that include the hardware IDs for modern Zen 4 chipset hubs.

  • Pure UEFI Framebuffer: The best method to implement UefiSeven or an equivalent emulator to prevent the freeze at the “Starting Windows” logo on a non-CSM laptop.

  • NVMe Support: Recommended generic or modded NVMe driver stack for modern OEM laptop drives under Win7.

If anyone has successfully gotten Windows 7 running on a Ryzen 8000 series laptop, or can point me to the exact working driver threads for this architecture, I would greatly appreciate your help!

Thank you!
