How to overclock Acer Helios 300

Hello, I’m trying to overclock an Acer helios 300 ph315-54-760s. I’ve tried to follow the steps from the following thread: [GUIDE] How to Undervolt(and even overclock) the Acer predator Helios 300 2021 11th gen Intel CPUs : r/acer_predator

But when I extract the bios file it shows 3 different files called (GH5XGx64_NoPD.fd, GH5XGx64_RTK.fd, and GH5XGx64_TI.fd). And I’m not sure which file is for my laptop. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

you’re trying to overclock your Acer Helios 300 PH315-54-760s, but you’re unsure which BIOS file to use. The three files you mentioned (GH5XGx64_NoPD.fd, GH5XGx64_RTK.fd, and GH5XGx64_TI.fd) are likely different versions of the BIOS for various regions or configurations.

To determine the correct BIOS file for your laptop, you can try the following steps:

  1. Check the Current BIOS Version: Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS setup (usually by pressing F2 during startup). Look for the current BIOS version displayed in the BIOS menu. This will help you identify which file corresponds to your current BIOS version.
  2. Visit Acer’s Support Website: Go to the Acer support page for your specific model and download the BIOS update from there. The correct file should be listed on the support page.
  3. Contact Acer Support: If you’re still unsure, you can contact Acer support directly for assistance in identifying the correct BIOS file for your laptop.

The following models share the exact same bios update file AN515-57, AN517-54, PH315-54, PH317-55. The version number is identical. As well as setup module.
@Munkhu may choose any file.

Thanks! If I can use all of them, I wonder why the NoPD.fd file has a smaller file size?

The files have the same size on my pc

As well as datestamps. I guess you downloaded two different updates.

Perhaps we downloaded a different bios file. I’m pretty sure i downloaded only one file. Anyway, It worked. Thank you so much for your help!
