I put a setup password on my BIOS 2 yrs back which now I don’t remember .( I am able to login into windows).
Already tried many remedy available ( Backdoor Password, CMOS Reset Using WIN+B key , Halt code (not generated).
HP service center is asking to replace the motherboard entirely which is much costlier.
Any help would be much appreciated

Download Intel CSME System Tools v11 and unpack it.
Go to \Intel CSME System Tools v11 r36\Flash Programming Tool\WIN64 and run in command line with administrative rights:
fptw64 -bios -d bios.rom
Zip and attach bios.rom.
I’ve decoded current password from this dump. It consists of eight digits.
