IDE mode option and support enabling/adding on an ASUS Z490-E Gaming

Can someone please create me a BIOS/UEFI mod that supports the option to set the SATA-Controller to IDE.
Because my BIOS only support to set the SATA Controller to AHCI and Intel RSTe, but the option and support to set it to IDE is missing.
Thank you very much in advance.

And please use for the mod this BIOS file:

And sorry for my bad and broken English

Is that not possible?

Not loosing time with it… why would exist an old controller as IDE on the modern Z490 chipset?
Not from Intel or OEMs…
Buy a PCIe or USB to IDE/ATA adapter.

EDIT: Let me get this straight? You want to boot XP on a PCIe to IDE adapter plugged in to a Z490 motherboard?
You’re pushing too much my friend…you’ll have to research that info yourself as its not an easy task and very likely to be impossible on a modern chipset motherboard, even in CSM/Legacy mode, this is your time not mine…sorry and good luck.

Thank you for your responce.

Another question do you know which after party controller (PCIe) has native boot compatible with Windows XP?

Ok, thank you for the information.
Didn’t thought it would be that complicated.
Maybe i just have to try an PCIe adapter, and wish i have luck.

Why so surprised? Its old OS (2001), old protocol (1986) and manufacturers want to maximize their profits on current technologies like SATA (2000/3) /NVMe (2001) not old and sporadic users.
So its not complicated its just regular abandonware.
