I have two 256GB m2 SSD and I would like to install Windows on them. I do not want a Hardware RAID to avoid Trim command not being applied. That is why I want software RAID in AHCI Mode and install Windows on it.
1. Is it really that harmfull if Trim Command is inactive in RAID?
2. How do I create a bootable Volume on a Software RAID? I heard that Windows Server Systems can be installed on Software Raids, but Windows Client Systems not. But I believe that I could copy an existing Boot Partition maybe or change the Windows Setup with DISM. Mini Tool does not work with dynamic Volumes though.
