while i have been successful in installing all versions of windows from 11 to xp as of yesterday, vista remains the exception. i’ve been stuck trying to get it to work, but i’ll list methods i’ve tried
- using an unmodded iso with rufus
- tried various usb 3.0 drivers
- tried installing from an iso with the win7 pe
- tried using windows 10’s pe but it said it couldnt find the liscense agreement
i did see a post on msfn about this but the drivers have to be manually selected with a ps/2 keyboard and i could only get winpe to start once after selecting one of the f8 options don’t remember which one
