Insyde H20FFT tool stuck at 43%

Hi guys, i am currently updating my bios from model Z5WAW v1.01 to Z5WAW v1.09. Ibam using the Insyde H20FFT v1.00.27.00 tool.

Acer aspire E5-572g
win10
4gb ram, i-3


The process is stuck at 43%, from about an hour now and the cooling fan is spinning at full power.

Can I shut it down without harming my laptop, or should i wait more?

Turned off the laptop, It fails to boot now. I get a flashing black screen only. Tried power reset, still does not work. Any tips?
