Is there a utility for the 82579V onboard NIC that can report:
1) The exact version of the current Gbe FW
2) Save the current Gbe FW version to a file
3) Upload a new FW version to the controller
I have looked everywhere and can’t find one, but I know something exists because @zzbloopzz posted one several years ago. That file isn’t available for download anymore though. If I can get such a utility I was hoping to create a thread for 82579V owners to report their installed version, so everyone could update to the newest Gbe FW version reported.
Or perhaps someone knows already what & where the latest version is. The Intel site is useless for this, unless you want an ancient 1.2 version.
