@wasisdn That has happened quite a while ago: This microcode is part of UBU (at least since 1.71.1) and has been included in plutomaniacs microcode repository on Github about 2 months ago.

This is some sort of BIOS corruption. The last two "microcodes" are broken. The last one supposedly starts 0x40 after the previous one which is impossible.
Intel’s microcode repo on Github updated (https://github.com/intel/Intel-Linux-Pro…9dee09c13746748) but the only thing new is already in post #214.

I’ve already added the new microcode in the MCE DB and the repo will get updated during the weekend as usual. 
I have a question to ask before I flash my bios with a new microcode.Hopefully I did this right.I have a I7 7700k and downloaded this microcode file for it cpu906E9_plat2A_ver000000B4_2019-04-01_PRD_DACDA920.bin.I placed it in the UBU folder, files,mCode and overwrote the older one that was in there and updated the microcode to a newer one dated 2019/04/01.Now my question is since I have not updated a microcode in a while with ubu when I flash my bios will all my Bios OC Saves be wipes out,or do you think they will be still there.I have 8 different OC saves in there,or is it when a bios version is changed is that where it wipes the bios saves.Darn,I cant remember,since I have not done this in a while.Any help appreciated…
That was from stock HP ENVY 17-j198nz latest BIOS, so must be some error HP made?
