I installed Intel cpu90672_plat07_ver00000034_2023-09-19_PRD_6C40FD58 over Intel cpu90672_plat07_ver00000032_2023-06-07_PRD_47715DEE and restrated as usual without turning off as it is the bios. And for the first time something weird happened.
The PC couldnā€™t recognize the ram brand or speed, CPU-Z and HWINFO showed empty values for everything. No crashed or any error messages, except the apps were slower, and the PC had much slower response.
But the I turned off the laptop and turned it again and it behaved as normal.
Is this normal? Should we turn off the PC and turn it on again after bios update? Or something special changed from 0x32 to 0x34?

No details, I just flashed the bios and restarted. What details you need?

But I think something changed in the way handling the RAM from 0x32 to x034

Well, if itā€™s a regular OEM bios update, i canā€™t see anything different from all other regular bios updates, im sure that the OEM knows what heā€™s doing.
Usually, the bios mcode supersedes the windows mcode from MS, only if mc_update has newer mcode, if no other modifications were made in windows, i just can point to check windows files SFC ( System File Checker tool) and DISM

Internal notes from mcode updates are usually not public and very hard to find or not to up dateā€¦

Yes, that microcode is old and present in the DB, MCE is already aware of that.
