I didn’t understand if you were talking to me, but, at this point I tell you that I already knew what you wrote and I think I asked my question badly. I was looking for if and what software could fail so that I could replicate in case my CPU failed

Intel has releases many MCs without updating their specification pdf for a while now, no new errata has been added.
Yes, it appears they are busy plugging holes in a slowly sinking ship.

@plutomaniac , in this thread post, I asked jen11 about the cpu506E3_plat36_ver000000F2_2023-01-02_PRD_86DC342B.bin that isn’t (I’m pretty sure) being covered by Intel - at least not yet. I’m pretty sure that jen11 simply picked up your Sep 17, 2023 addition, and posted it on Jan 24, 2024.
I’ve looked high and low for this one. I’ve even pulled updated bios’ from Dell that are still being supported, and linux distros aren’t carrying it (which makes sense).
Can you give some advice on where this one is coming from? Thanks
I don’t know, as I neither remember nor keep track of specific microcodes.
cpu506E3_plat36_ver000000F2_2023-01-02_PRD_86DC342B.bin
Was on a mission for this one. Dell is covering this under their OptiPlex 5050 System BIOS.
Thank you for releasing this, Can’t thank you enough for your work you are doing.
I came across an interesting thing, which may be surprising only to me. Are there any AMD CPUIDs that are somehow compatible with another? For example, the AMD Athlon X4 950 has a CPUID of 660F51, but I have never come across such a microcode. I’ve never seen anything like this with Intel. There is a corresponding microcode for each CPUID.
