These are not files that can be used to update existing ME versions. At least those starting from v12. Iām sure Pluto described this in the thread starter post. They need to be configured for the specific hardware. But donāt ask me how, Iām just sharing the files.
Anyone tried downloading the latest CSME VEDT (11.0.4.0)?
Iām getting password protected .zip archive and the Linux .tar is in that archive. Not normal. Iāve posted to the intel support link, logging in was a chore, they expired my password.
What can you know about this? I do not think it is normal to have a password protected file.
Intel was in no hurry to publish it. The page was updated on 17 December and the file is dated 25 June.
I donāt know anything about the policy that Intel uses in its publications.
As a simple user, I tried to guess some common passwords and on the 3rd try I succeeded.
I immediately thought of making an account at winraid.level1techs.com and sharing the information since in the past I have been helped by others here and by the administrator with what it offers.
I am trying to update/flash the Intel ME firmware on my Lenovo ThinkStation P350, but I keep encountering the following error messages:
Error 364: Update to incompatible H/LP SKU image.
Error 509: The internal structure of the Update Image is corrupted.
Error 436: PMC partition is not in the Update Image.
To attempt the update, I replaced the firmware .bin file within Lenovoās update tool package with various 15.0.50.2633 versions provided on the Win-Raid forum. Unfortunately, every attempt to flash resulted in the errors mentioned above.
I will also include my current .bin file (dumped from my system) as an attachment for better analysis and understanding.
Could someone please help me figure out the correct procedure or provide guidance on:
Ensuring compatibility between the firmware and the system.
Properly preparing or modifying the firmware image, if needed.
Troubleshooting the errors listed above.
