I absolutely do not know how to solve what you have described. I’m not even sure that it can be done at all. But I am almost certain that it has nothing to do with the MEI.
does mfit version 16.1.27.2236 exist in the wild yet?
16.1.25.2091 is within this thread somewhere, don’t know about later versions.
This is what it looks like sorted by build date:
The most recent build is 16.1.25.2091, but it is already more than two years old.

Good afternoon everyone! Please help me find CSME System Tools 16.0.15.1817. I will be very grateful.
sorry, my english is very bad
Is there a quick and easy way to read CSME 19 firmware/sub-firmware/plugin versions?
Usually I just use ME Analyzer on older ME, all this ME 19.0.0.1854 talk about performance improvements in January has me intrigued.
Checking a BIOS with UEFITool it is obviously easy to see the main ME version, how do you check the rest?
Looks like it’s possible to check the below 4 but I don’t feel this is the correct way.
PMC by checking “PMCP.man”
PCHC by checking “PCHC.man”
PHY S by checking “SPHY.man”
ACE by checking “ADSP.man”
The BIOS I was looking at above is the Asrock Z890 Aqua 2.26.AS02 [Beta]
For example, the ME firmware update listed on the ROG forums lists the below, what is the best method for checking an existing BIOS and possibly a ME FW upd file to compare the version differences between them?
Firmware : 19.0.0.1854 [27/11/2024]
PMC Firmware : 1900.21.0.1054

Regarding 16.1.35.2557_CON_LP_A_PRD_EXTR_75A6D4FE
Seems that the Dell updates containing this version are marked “not for production”, the stable version is back to 16.1.32 again, but unclear if ME is the reason.

EDIT II
In any case the same one is marked as available from station drivers here : Intel Management Engine (ME/AMT) Firmware Version 16.1.35.2557 (LP)(1.5Mo)
I don’t know whether station-drivers checks the stability of the MEs it uploads.
Since lfb6 is an ancien here, I’m going to trust him and wait a while before updating my ME…
Edit : Lenovo seems to offer it as an update without warning here: https://support.lenovo.com/downloads/DS564745
I updated my laptop to this version before writing this last post without any troubles and the update offered by Lenovo is identical to the one I used. So I assume it quite OK to use this update for 16.1 Consumer LP…
