Good evening. I´ve recently purchased a MSI GTX 1050ti 4GB LP for use with my Lenovo Thinkcentre m93p SFF, replacing the trusty GT 1030 i´ve used before. Unfortunately, i cannot get the card to work no matter what i try, i´ve also tried updating the bios to the newest version, still no dice. The fans spin when plugged in, but i cannot get any video output signal on the screen whatsoever. A user over on the Lenovo forums suggested i update the Intel ME firmware, it is indeed not updated to the latest version. I´ve downloaded the latest firmware update ( 9.1.45.3000 ) from Lenovo´s page, but there´s no driver, so i cannot use the firmware update. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
MEi FW is OS independent, only the tool is specific OS and its already more than explained that…
ME Firmware’s are released by Intel to OEMs primarily, they are not intended for public releases or the sharing of its corrections unless the OEM provides it, other than that is difficult to get all the changelogs on revisions.
Its usually correction of Security issues (CVAs).
Keep in mind that all that the users do here in this thread is sharing the various sources and that’s it.
