@ ex58: Thanks for this new Intel MEI package v10.0.25.1006.
@ all: After having downloaded the new package and extracted the complete content, I found 32/64bit Intel MEI drivers v10.0.25.1006 dated 05/14/2014, which are digitally signed by Intel. Since I was able to successfully install this brandnew Intel MEI driver onto my Intel HM76 chipset notebook running Win8.1 x64, I am pretty sure, that these drivers are usable with all Intel chipset systems from 7-Series up (maybe even with some 6-Series chipset systems). These are the supported Intel MEI DeviceIDs: 1E3A, 1CBA, 1C3A, 1DBA, 1D3A, 8C3A, 8D3A, 8CBA, 9C3A and 9CBA Note: Although Gigabyte is offering the linked complete Intel MEI package for Intel 9-Series 5M systems, the drivers obviously are suitable for 1.5M systems and other Intel Chipsets (from 6-Series up) as well.
Update of the Start Post Changelog:
new: extracted 32/64bit Intel MEI drivers v10.0.25.1006 dated 05/14/2014, digitally signed by Intel
new: Complete Intel MEI Drivers & Software Set v10.0.25.1006 dated 05/15/2014, digitally signed by Intel
This is what the ME8Info tool shows for my Intel HM76 chipset laptop (GBe 1.3) after having manually installed the new Intel MEI driver v10.0.25.1006:

This verifies, that these MEI drivers are usable with ME8 Gbe 1.3 systems (and probably Gbe 1.5 as well)ā¦
Fernando, yesterday I try to install your drivers on my Z97 systemā¦and not succesfull. Today I got drivers direct from GB and installed well. Uploaded here: https://www.mediafire.com/?w2842ijr8xjcw79
@ ex58: Thanks for the info. The installation failure with your Z97 system obviously has been caused by the missing āINTERNALā folder within the much smaller sized pure driverpack I am offering within the start post of this thread. Maybe Z97 systems need the additional 32/64bit .pdb file for a proper MEI TeeDriver installation. Since I didnāt find a reference to the content of the INTERNAL folder and its TEEDriver.pdb files within the heci.inf file, I had removed this folder to save space. Just to make sure, that the removed INTERNAL folder is not necessary for a manual installation of the Intel MEI driver v10.0.25.1006, I tested the shrinked driverpack with HM76 notebook - and succeeded without any error message. This test result let me think, that the shrinked driverpack will work for all systems, which are supported by the heci.inf file. As a consequence of your report I just have added the INTERNAL folder and reuploaded the package containing the extracted 32/64bit Intel MEI drivers v10.0.25.1006.
Anyways, I ran across your thread on the UBU and this one randomly, and decided to give it a go. I used the UBU no problem, that was easy. However, I am having trouble trying to flash IME.
I am on a P67A-GD80, using the ME7 BIOS still (Iām a Sandy user/overclocker, so I donāt want to upgrade to ME8). I am also on Windows 8.1 x64. I can read me IME version just fine with the tool, however I canāt seem to flash it. Is it because the tool is x32 and I am on x64? I also tried using it in DOS and got an obvious error, lol. Is there an obvious step Iām missing, or do I have to use a x32 OS in order to flash ME7?
I am sorry, but I donāt have gotten access to a 64bit installer for ME7 systems. Maybe you should try to boot off a 32bit Live CD/DVD and then run the 32bit ME7 installer.
Is there any suggestions for a x32 live CD/DVD? One that is particularly easy to useā¦ lol. Or is it possible to boot off of a Win7 x32 install disk and use the command prompt within there?
EDIT by Fernando: Dispensable quoted text deleted (to save space within the thread)
I donāt think, that this will work, but if you have a free partition, you can temporarily install Win7 32bit, flash the ME7 Firmware and then format the partition again.
Okay, I created a small partition for Win7 x32. I copied the flash tool over to the C:\Win32 and executed the flash.bat via CMD (as admin). I am getting the following error: "X is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."
Any ideas?

Thanks for your help so far, the link you sent me seems to have the flash.bat working now at least. However, I am now getting the following error after the backup happens and when it tries to flash: "Error 8714: Firmware update not initiated due to file [me.bin] open or read failure".
I re-downloaded everything in case something was corrupted, but same thing happened.
Since I am offering the ME 7 Firmware for quite a long time and didnāt yet get any feedback like yours, I am confident, that your problem can be solved. Tomorrow I will search for an alternative download link to the ME 7 Firmware.
Meanwhile I found >here< an other download link to the latest ME 7 Firmware v7.1.60.1193 (it seems, that the uploader has gotten the source files from my site). If you should no succeed with that ME.bin file, I recommend to post, what the MEInfo tool shows for your system.
recently I flashed the 7.1.85.1216 5MB ME firmware on my Q67 system successfully under Windows 7 x64 !!! Seems to me that you donāt need an explict x32 OS for that.
Thanks for the info. Meanwhile this updated ME8 5M Firmware v8.1.55.1506 is within the start post of this thread.
Zitatalso there's typo mistake here:
This should be the v9.5.24.1790 listed as per link you made it for.
Thanks for this additional info. Now the text of the link has been corrected. Obviously Intel had updated the linked ME 9.5 package version after I have written this part of the start post.
