@snixel :
The SetupME.exe file contains much more than just the MEI driver.
You can verify it by running the following command as Admin:
SetupME.exe -extract C:\TEST>

please i need Intel ME 8 Firmware v8.1.20.1336. thanks
@stev :
Welcome to the Win-RAID Forum!
Within this thread only the latest/best Intel ME drivers and Firmware versions are offered and available via download link.
So if you want an outdated Intel ME Firmware version, you should better search for it within Intel’s Download Center.
Regards
Dieter (alias Fernando)
@Fernando - Intel download center doesn’t publish ANY ME FW that I’m aware of, but maybe I’ve missed it being there over the years
@stev - You need the V8 repo package from our ME FW repo section, inside you will find the ME FW you wanted - Intel ME 8 Firmware Repository r20 - (2018-07-07) >> Intel Engine: Firmware Repositories
Hello! I need the Intel ME System Tools v11.6 r14.rar or r13 or r15. can help me? actual version dont work in mi corrupted intel me,
Thanks!
Hello all,
Just doing some research to compile my own ME firmware for what I think is the impending release, given this latest crop of new vulnerabilities intel has published today (frightening…)
I always benefited from an experienced user on asus ROG forums who would compile and post my applicable firmware, so I could just click install basically and do it, without needing to use a bios flash. However he has stopped posting these drivers/FW
For example, the latest FW version I am on, looked like this inside the file.
Can anyone provide some “simpler” input for how to do this on my own? It seems really complex and I’d hate to brick my board.
Also, I have a z370 motherboard, with an intel i7-8700k. Coffee lake S, CPUID 906EA as indicated from this intel link.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help…crocode-updates
Just wanted to confirm, my correct firmware is this one, as indicated on page 1 for this thread.
Intel CSME 11.8 Consumer PCH-H D,A Firmware v11.8.70.3626
For 100/200/H310C/B365/Z370-series systems which run CSME Consumer H D,A v11.0 - v11.8
Yes, same version I am on now, but that particular series is the one to check for updates, correct?
A newer version, 12.0.55.1521, has already been available from Station-Drivers since 8th November: https://www.station-drivers.com/index.ph…id=4211&lang=en
As soon as plutomaniac is back, it will be available within the start post of this thread as well.
More ME firmware binaries can be found here:
https://github.com/system76/firmware-open/
There is a new thing called Ignition Firmware for servers now, which appeared in the EDK II non-osi mailing list. I filed a PR to MEAnalyzer, from which you can download the blog:
https://github.com/platomav/MEAnalyzer/pull/16
I cannot find any firmware files in the first link, none whatsoever, maybe I am just daft.
Hi
I want latest version of MEI For Windows xp pro SP3 x86 (official installer *.exe)
MB - ASUS Maximus VII Ranger Z97
Tnx
That’s annoying: what version is the more recent one?
Lenovo just released its v12.0.49.1534 corporate firmware.
But v12.0.55.1521 is also listed here.
Maybe someone can clarify this?
@Fernando I am facing some difficulties with my laptop, first in trying to determine what chipset it is in order to download your correct IME driver files. So I have a Latitude E5450, the exact specs are in the following page
https://www.dell.com/support/home/in/en/…Bndz090/drivers
I have upped the ram to 16gb from 8gb and put in a 512 ssd if that helps.
Now running the MEinfo Intel CSME System Tools v12 and v11 both gives me errors as follows respectively
Error 39: PCH is not supported.
Error 620: Unknown hardware platform.
&
Error 107: Failed to create dependency list for features.
I am unable to determine what is causing these errors so any insight in pointing me towards the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Some more info-
current installed IME ver : 11.7.0.1032
dev instance path : PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_9CBA&SUBSYS_062B1028&REV_03\3&11583659&0&B0

the cpu in my system is a 5th gen i5-5300U with 3mb cache. This was handed over to me by my company due to out of warranty stock so I am not sure if it uses the 1.5mb or the 5mb corporate cache system within. Please let me know if you need any more information. Thank you so much in advance!
EDIT:
looping in @plutomaniac if can provide any insight onto why and what to do next.
EDIT by Fernando: The 2 posts have been merged and unneeded blank lines removed to save space.
Doesn’t take Plutomaniac to know that neither 11 or 12 version of the tools support the the older 5th gen CPUs and chipsets. You probably need something along the lines of v8 tools.
You would have known that if you would have read the OP.
thanks for the quick turnaround but I tried MEInfo in 8 and 9, both posted some kind of errors. MEInfo for 10 worked without posting any error info but running MEManuf and FWUpdate reported errors. Dunno where to go from here.
All I need is the specific driver file and I would install it myself, please lmk if there are any specific files I could provide to help determine what belongs in my system
Thanks again.
@rakstrooper :
Welcome to the Win-RAID Forum!
According to the posted HardwareIDs of your on-board Intel(R) Management Engine Interface device your ME system belongs to the v10.0 series (for Broadwell or WildcatPointLP CPU Gen).
So I recommend to use the Intel ME System Tools v10.0 r7 dated 08/08/2018.
For all other questions please wait for plutomaniac’s reply.
Good luck and a Happy New Year!
Dieter (alias Fernando)
Thank you and a happy new year to you as well Dieter!
If you get a chance to please mention the driver you would suggest I install for my IME system. the lot from page one of this thread! I can avoid the hassle with the tools and such.
Attached are the specific "pure" 32/64bit Intel MEI drivers, which will work with your specific mainboard while running Win10. I have extracted them from the Intel ME Driverpack, which is offered by Dell for your Latitude E5450. I wonder why you didn’t find it your own.
