I am not sure why this new v2036.100.0.1024 driver have slowed down my system a lot, like a lot, something with memory and I have suffered a lot of it, I rolled back to the older version 2035.15.0.1807, still using latest DAL and iCLS. I donāt install the LMS as it caused issues in my system

Intel MEI Drivers & Software v2044.15.0.1951 MSI (Windows 7, 8, 10 <= 1703) this version is for win7 and win8 not compatible with windows 10
Hello! can anyone help me to downgrade the ME firmware!? motherboard rog maximus xi gen BIOS 1302 I want to downgrade from 12.0.70.1652v3 to version 12.0.49.1534 I cannot do it myself without damaging the motherboard, I will be very grateful for the help
@foetopsy The first post of this thread covers upgrade and downgrade possibilities. Normal downgrade via Intel FWupdate tool dosnāt seem to be possible because of different SVN numbers, so you would either have to use a ME region of an earlier bios, or if none of the earlier bioses includes the desired version, youād have to create a ME region in the same manner that you would clean one (see [Guide] Clean Dumped Intel Engine (CS)ME/(CS)TXE Regions with Data Initialization )
Regarding getting the ME region into the SPI/ bios chip: Itās unclear for me 1) if this board does have an Asus flashback option and 2) if Asus flashback does flash the complete bios or just the bios region. If that doesnāt work youād have to try the options to open the flash descriptor lock for the ME region or use a CH341 flasher.
In addition thereās mentioned
I donāt know if this is the case for the Z390 chipset.
So thereās a chance of things not working out and a good backup and a CH341 programmer at hand could be useful.
What laptop are we talking about exactly? Do you have a SPI dump to compress and attach/link to, in order to verify that it is indeed PRE? You cannot change from PRE to PRD and vice versa.
I have only 1 remaining yellow Flag in my Device Manager; -PCI Simple Communications Controller. From what Iāve read it is the Intel Management Engine Drivers.
I tried installing your Windows 7 IME Installer Driver; I get āPlatform is not supportedā. The Win 7 folder shows in the subcategory. I also tried installing your standalone driver, through Device Manager browse, it did not find anything. The .inf and .sys files are in there.

@ Freeza:
The v15 MSI drivers support (CS)ME 10 & 11 under Windows 7, not 12. CSME 12 is additionally supported under Windows 8 & 10 <= 1709. You should look at older driver branches (v14 maybe) at Station-Drivers or similar which probably still supported CSME 12 under Windows 7.
I know. These were updated that day on the first post. It was a general announcement to everyone, not targeted to you.
You cannot use v15 drivers with that Platform/OS combination. The latest v14 drivers you can find at SD will work just fine. It doesnāt matter honestly, as long as you have a driver installed.
For Windows 10 2009, this MEI version must be used: Windows 10> = 1709 ? I hadnāt paid attention, but with the latest version of the drivers, I had taken for W8 (TeeDriverW8x64.sys file)

It is a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen 7, but it is engineering model. The normal upgrade from Lenovo does notw work. The MEinfoWin64 shows that it is Pre-Production firmware. I hope there is some trick to bring it production firmware; otherwise, the Intel Audio driver does not work properly.
What CPU is it running? Show us the MEInfo -verbose output.
The CPU is an engineering model "Genuine Intel(R) CPU 0000 @1.6GHZ, 1800 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)". It should be either "8th Generation IntelĀ® Coreā¢ i5-8365U Processor with vProā¢ (1.60 GHz, up to 4.10 GHz with Turbo Boost, 4 Cores, 8 Threads, 6 MB Cache)" or "10th Generation IntelĀ® Coreā¢ i5-10210U Processor (1.60 GHz, up to 4.20 GHz with Turbo Boost, 4 Cores, 8 Threads, 6 MB Cache)" based on Lenovo retail version specs.
