I saw that as well after I posted this. Basically 13/10/2014 is the date Lenovo wrote at the readme file. But it seems that Intel built the update image at 22/09/2014.

At the first post you should also add the DOS, EFI versions of the tools in case someone needs them. I have most of them if you want to include them. I know it will require renewing the links so itā€™s up to you.

Just for collection reasons, do you think these old stuff should be added? I have no use for them as I donā€™t have such old ME-capable systems.

Yes, please give me the link to the related data. EFI folders may not be interesting for old ME systems, but DOS folders are welcome.

The ME5 tools may be interesting for some users, but the older ones probably not. Nevertheless you may upload them for me. This will give me the option to add one ore more of them upon request.

Thank you very much for the big variety of ME tools. Since I am actually not at home and donā€™t have access to my own Intel ME data, I will do the comparison of the ME tools and a customization of the start post, when I am back home and have the needed time.
What I will additionally will need are the latest Intel Firmware files for ME6 1.5M and ME5 1.5/5M. If you should have them, please upload them somewhere and give me the link.

You already have ME6 v6.2.60.1066 5MB so the rest are:

From ME2-4 I donā€™t know what SKUā€™s these are. Probably Intel had a different way of differentiating (1.5MB or 5MB). ME5 does look like a 1.5MB image though. Iā€™m not sure. These are from Lenovo.

I cannot find the 1.5 MB version and unless some OEM shares the actual .bin update file we will never do since the v6 version of FWUpdLcl does not include a -save command.

Lordkag had uploaded and linked >here< the 1.5M variant of the Intel ME6 Firmware v6.1.10.1052, but I thought, that you may have a newer version.

I know but as I said this is not an update file but the whole ME region. Itā€™s 1.5MB and not 1.3MB as the update is.

I did find a newer 1.5MB ME v6 region from an extracted BIOS which was 6.1.20 or something but I deleted it as you canā€™t really do anything with it unless you use FITC v6 + change OEM settings etc. It was not an update.

There are also ME v6 Ignition around (2MB BIOS file, 0.2MB ME) but these are fairly useless function-wise.

Both are full 1.5MB images (17D000 length) and include OEM settings. If anyone wants to embed these to their own BIOS, they need to use FITC and change ICC settings etcā€¦

2 < 10 so 9.1.10.1005 is newer. But thatā€™s general, you need the specific version for your 1.5MB or 5MB system.

Hi.

Iā€™ve a big problem. Iā€™ve bought a Maximus VI Extreme few days ago and I updated MEI firmware to 9.1.0.1120 and Iā€™ve the BCLK issue.
Iā€™d like to downgrade to 9.0.31.1487 mei firmware but it says ā€œFirmware update operation not initiated due to a SKU mismatchā€.
Is there anyone who can help me please explaining the correct downgrade procedure please ?

It makes sense, the firmware provided is not correct. The v9.0.31.1487 is a full 1.5MB image and not the update that the FWUpdLcl tool requires. You could always reflash the latest Asus bios which will revert the ME firmware as well.

EDIT: Actually probably Iā€™m mistaken. Does Intel use the full ME 1.5MB firmware nowadays (after 7-series)?
