Good evening. IĀ“ve recently purchased a MSI GTX 1050ti 4GB LP for use with my Lenovo Thinkcentre m93p SFF, replacing the trusty GT 1030 iĀ“ve used before. Unfortunately, i cannot get the card to work no matter what i try, iĀ“ve also tried updating the bios to the newest version, still no dice. The fans spin when plugged in, but i cannot get any video output signal on the screen whatsoever. A user over on the Lenovo forums suggested i update the Intel ME firmware, it is indeed not updated to the latest version. IĀ“ve downloaded the latest firmware update ( 9.1.45.3000 ) from LenovoĀ“s page, but thereĀ“s no driver, so i cannot use the firmware update. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

The driver (NOT Firmware) is on the product support page, section:

Motherboard Devices (Backplanes, core chipset, onboard video, PCIe switches) (5)

Now does that SFF has enough PSU or PCIe slot power to run that 1050TIā€¦, im not pointing ME FW as primary causeā€¦but go ahead update it.

I have a question: is version 11.8.95.4551 available for Windows\Linux and what does it introduce?

MEi FW is OS independent, only the tool is specific OS and its already more than explained thatā€¦
ME Firmwareā€™s are released by Intel to OEMs primarily, they are not intended for public releases or the sharing of its corrections unless the OEM provides it, other than that is difficult to get all the changelogs on revisions.
Its usually correction of Security issues (CVAs).
Keep in mind that all that the users do here in this thread is sharing the various sources and thatā€™s it.

Which firmware? (Even if the first post is no longer updated the content of the linked CSME repository is still updated)

Hi plutomaniac, sorry to bring the old post again.

I have also a 12gen HP ES unit with PRE-ME, in last days i struggled try to overcome the ME update problems, with help from the guides and @Ifb6, i extracted the official CSE Region.bin from HP BIOS image and updated my pre-fw binary to prod-fw by ā€œFWUpdLcl64ā€, at least seems to be no error in update process. Below is the MeInfo output for original and updated FW:

After update the audio OED works fine (with pre-fw not), but then the discrete GPU disappered from the device manager, even in BIOS it is still set to ā€œHybridā€, only iGPU left. Flash back the original ME dump the GPU works again (audio not).

I donā€™t know if it is related to signing key problems or sth else. Do you have any suggestions that I can still try? Many thanks.
