Intel (CS) Management Engine: Drivers, Firmware and Tools for (CS)ME 16+

old.rar (6.4 MB)
Modular Flash Image Tool. Version: 16.1.25.2091
Sir, I have uploaded the MFIT version along with the DUMP file.

I’d assume that 16.1.25.2091 gets too old.

Many of the images on badcaps create the same error when trying to decompose. I found 3 images on badcaps that did decompose, two of them quite similar, one with some differences.

So the recommendation is the same as given to you by volinakis: Replace the ME_Region with UEFITool with one extracted from a decomposable dump

All images except for the last one in this thread seem to open OK

Thanks for your recommendation sir. Really appreciate that…Apologies for bothering you without providing complete information. Will mind this for later queries.

It worked sir…Decomp Problem solved by replacing ME region from decomposing dump file. Thanks alot @lfb6 :100:

:+1: Thanks for the feedback!

 :+1: :+1:

18.0.10.2351_COR.rar (5.9 MB)

i am facing same issue cant decompose my bios file can any one help

With so little information given: You’re doing something wrong or your ME is corrupted or your dump isn’t properly taken.

Use 16.1 MFIT, not 16.0

same issue on 16.1

  • Attach your dump

  • What machine?
