hi there, i have a dx79to board the bios was corrupted and needed a new bios.bin file so i have found one that did work eventually but this message appeared on the screen “the aa number has not been programmed on the system”
Found one… right. Better ask the status of that file where you found it.
Hex edit it or try ITK
Thanks for your reply
I Dont know how to hex edit unfortunately can you help with that ?
i have managed to download me analyzer and found out that the flashed bin file is an older version of what was originally on the board
this is the flashed one

any suggestion and/or solution?!
Intel ME FW is not related or any fix to your AA number issue.
ME Analyzer is a tool for Intel ME Firmware image analysis of a bios file or a system dump.
Intel ME FW can be updated manually or by latest bios and its not also a major issue or a conditioner of correct functionally of the motherboard.
@IntelModder may be the best user on the forum for issues on Intel boards.
Update to the latest bios using the normal update procedure with the last .bio available file for the board. Let us know if the issue is still there.
