Intel iRST driver while booting to RAID volume

Hi All,

I have one doubt. Let’s say I have two SATA HDD and I created RAID1 in pre boot iRST console. Now in BIOS boot menu the logical volume is displayed. I install and boot and OS in the volume. So while booting how Intel iRST driver is communicating with boot loader and AHCI bus driver. My understanding is AHCI bus driver will enumerate the SATA HDD’s as child and install BlockIO protocol and bootloader will access the FAT32 ESP using the BlockIO instance. So what happens when we boot to RAID volume, how bootloader communicate with the iRST ?
