just posting here to thank you guys for all the hardwork, I used the info on this post to get uhd630 working on windows 7, then again on windows 10 RS2 1703 (just had to upgrade for compatibility reason, otherwise windows7 forever amirite) by referencing these files. I also got intel control panel thingy to work by using intel "legacy" drivers without having to upgrade to latest version.
I have tried installing the CanonKong driver with and without the DeathBringer mods under Windows 7 on my new Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro WiFi motherboard. The board works find under Windows 10 and under Windows 7 with the default VGA driver. Also CanonKong’s USB drivers are working fine (THANKS!) on my Windows 7 install. Both variations of the Win 7 UHD 630 drivers show that they are installed in the Window’s Device Manager under Display Adapters and the Display Audio drivers are also showing as installed under Sound … Controllers. The problem is that just after Win 7 boots to the opening screen with the whirling lights it then just freezes goes black and the PC is locked up until I reboot into Safe Mode where I have to remove the drivers. I have also tried to to load the drivers in Test Mode with the same results.
Any thoughts on how I can get the UHD 630 drivers working on my Coffee Lake i5-9600K Z390 system?
After trying all the mods ever done only this one worked for me…Just wanted to confirm this is indeed working 100% no need to enable test mode on windows 7x64 …It is fully working on my Gigabyte Z370 with IntelUHD 630 via display port…thanks man for this modded drivers.
And that’s important enough to justify it - by the way, BEFORE this security fix (.5127), there was another security fix (.5103) released by Intel a few months earlier:
That’s 2 security fixes cumulating since your last release then
About the Win10 Coffee Lake graphics drivers:
Isn’t it possible to backport driver versions for Win10 released before version 25.20.100.6519 (the first DCH-only driver Intel released, I believe) to Win7/8/8.1 ? I cannot find those previous versions on Intel’s download center anymore - they were all removed! And it’s very obvious WHY they were removed…
Try to see what the name of the files were from the download page of the intel website if you can. Then search on Google with that filename, maybe you get lucky on other websites (mirrors).
