Hello, I recently purchased an Asus laptop with an I7 9750H and an RTX 2060. The bios chip appears to have been replaced or reprogrammed by the previous owner. Everything works correctly but the TPM 2.0 module is not detected. This is not the first time it happened to me. I currently have 2 identical and functional Asus Vivobook and when I copy the bios of one into the other, the TPM module is no longer detected. As soon as I put the correct bios back in the correct PC, the TPM reappears. So here is my question: Is there a unique identifier that links the bios to the TPM chip and how can I solve the problem?
