Just as title says.
I have read that people were able to extract controller modules from UEFI BIOS and insert them successfully into another UEFI BIOS to make M.2 drives, such as Samsungs, bootable.
Would it be possible to insert those modules into an older BIOS?
Apparently, on Gigabyte X58A you can use it as regular storage drive, but Windows 10 installer won’t allow you to install a bootable image on it.

According to my knowledge you need an UEFI BIOS to get an M.2 connected SSD bootable.
