Is it possible to rename RAID Array?

As result of ghosting OS image from a couple of SSDs to HDDs, then to SSDs (my SSDs tend to suicide…) I have now a name I don’t like in device manager for RAID Array.
Is it possible to change it?
Thanks

It is not possible to change the RAID name from within the Intel RAID ROM Utility (CTRL+I) without erasing all RAID data, but it may be possible from within the Intel RST Console. I haven’t tried it yet, because I use the RST Console just for 1 minute to get Write-Back Caching enabled.

Fern is right, as usual. LOL

Using the RST software, click on manage, the first option is RENAME.

I just tried in RST console; it effectively renames the array, but just in RST console, not in device manager…

Not sure what you’re talking about, the two places that you can see the raid volume in devise mgr, neither have the name, under disk an storage, the name is not displayed.

Under disk management only the path is displayed.

My OS is in italian, the place before the last one if you don’t show hidden devices (it’s disk units in italian) names “Intel RAID 0 Volume SCSI Disk Device”, that’s the stock name when building an array with CTRL-I.
It’s the line before CD/DVD ROM.
