Hi,
Was looking at my bios through Ubutool and noticed that the Killer Lan ports are using oroms and the only efi driver is one for Intel:
EFI Intel PRO/1000 UNDI - 6.0.24
OROM QCM-Atheros PXE - 2.1.1.5
OROM QCM-Atheros PXE - 2.1.1.5
So I would assume that the Killer E2400 ports are an Intel product because I don’t see any efi rom drivers. The only efi lan driver is for Intel and as I understand it my X99 Godlike board was using only Killer lan ports?
Thanks.
I believe Killer E2200/E2400 are Qualcomm and not Intel products. I am not sure if this is what you are asking, but I noticed that UBU v1.70 rc4 allows updating EFI Lx Network Killer UNDI to 1.1.0.10.
Those are all PXE “Boot from LAN” modules. Boot from LAN modules are all I’ve ever seen UBU updating, which most people never use so I don’t get why people update that? Maybe I’m confused on that, but that’s how I’ve always seen it, even looking within the modules they specifically state LAN Boot roms usually.
What board are you looking at now, if you cannot find module in BIOS I will look for you. And yes, as mentioned above QCM/Atheros is the Killer LAN (But only the boot from LAN module)
