You’re probably annoyed with this topic by this point. But, I wanted some help/support with messing with the BCLK on this Laptop, if possible. My digging showed that this is likely impossible without BIOS modding because of the ME, so… I also wanted to try my luck as Skylake was the age of exploiting with stuff such as SkyOC. It’s an Acer Aspire F5 573 723q(i7 6500u/Intel HD 520)
There’s no power throttling, and heat limits are of no concern. Voltages are also fine to deal with. I’m aware that this can create damage and the questionable worthness of it and would like to proceed regardless.
And, by chance, is there anything such as an BIOS lockdown that OEMs do? When going into Power > Power & Performance > GT - Power Management Control, my BIOS freezes. Won’t come back until a forceful turn off.(Happens in both version 1.12 and 1.27)
I could dump the BIOS here and add a few shots of the BIOS, whether needed.
