Hello, I got a problem with a sony vaio VPCEC1M1E, I can’t install any windows.
(Bios efi compatible)
- ubuntu start only with acpi=off.
- I tested all components with Eurosoft Pc-check and nothing has been found.
- Tried with another ram module or live cd of xp, win7.
- Reflashed the bios with afudos. (Afudos /p /b /n or /GAN)
- Rom id is empty, GUID = 00000… .
For xp the problem occurs after enumerating all drivers. The underscore just blink and don’t pass to the first screen of the installation.
For win7/8/10 after “loading files for windows” bar before the installation. I got black screen no BSOD.
If I install a hard drive with windows 10 on it, the boot logo stuck when It start to spin.
If I try to go in safe mode, he stuck to classpnp.sys.
