XP Pro_SP3
The latest Java is version 8.0 build 231.
I read a couple of posts on another forum. The latest build works ok with XP, but the installers
stopped working with builds 151/152.
The download from Oracle is an SFX. I extracted the contents with 7-Zip.
Is there a batch file or similar script that will install the extracted folders and files from build 231?
After performing several Google searches, it seems like there is a working script that will install
the latest build of Java in XP. If it exists, I can’t find it.
