Lenovo B50-70 BIOS Win10
There… happy “flashing”!!!
EDIT: Do you see Lenovo telling you that their bios update OS executable file is W10 compatible?
You may try the file from Lenovo CN server
The delay can be caused by internal CS(ME) v9.5 Firmware engine corruption and if so, it can also lead to bios update failures. Also, bios updates on top will not fix any ME corruption.
These actions require further advanced user knowledge on manual dumping/cleaning CSME/programming the mainboard SPI IC bios, as well the use of a programmer.
If not i do advise seeking professional repair as inexperienced user actions tend to make worse.
Lenovo B50 device (Serial Number: CB32698332).
Issue Details:
- Current BIOS Version:*9DCN21WW (V2.02)
- Problem:
- When attempting to update the BIOS using the official Lenovo website’s update tool, the device restarts but displays a “Failed” message.
- My system runs *Windows 10 (64-bit), and I followed all instructions (running as administrator, enabling BIOS flash, etc.).
- Boot Delay:* The device shows a black screen for 10+ minutes*before Windows starts, even though the hardware (HDD, RAM, etc.) works fine on another device. I’ve tried discharging static electricity and resetting the CMOS battery.
Request:
I kindly ask for your support in:
- Providing a working BIOS update solution or an alternative method.
- Troubleshooting the boot delay issue if unrelated to the BIOS.
I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Please let me know if you require further details.
