I need to boot my Lenovo ideapad Gaming 3 15IMH05 laptop, but I cannot remember the BIOS system password to do so. Reading some posts on the forum, I have dumped and attached the bios file with
FPTW64.exe -bios -d biosreg.bin command. Yet, FPTW64.exe -bios -f biosreg.bin produces the "Error 167: Protected Range Registers are currently set by BIOS, preventing flash access." message.
So, it seems I need to view the currently set BIOS password but do not know how to do.
Could you please guide me on how to retrieve the BIOS system password so that I could enable booting from USB?
