Lenovo Legion 5 Pro unlock NVENC

Dear Community,

I’ve decided to call on the experts in this forum here, because I (and many others) do have a serious problem.

It seems that in central Europe (say Germany, Austria) and in India Lenovo secretly has locked h.264 NVENC on Legion 5 and Legion 5 Pros becaus they are in a litigation with Nokia about certificates for this encoder. This is really bad for me as a content creator who relies on things as screenrecording with OBS (and not just the low-spec internal Radeon-graphics, I payed for a 3070!). Many other people have this problem, and it’s most likely a barrier in the BIOS, depending on the country the laptop was sold (or maybe produced in/for).
So the Idea was to analyze the BIOS for such a barrier or a setting to finally enable NVENC for everyone.

I am a total noob, so I put this issue into this forum, hopefully seeking for help. If someone could have a (detailed) look at the firmware or knows where to get a “NVENC-unlocked”-BIOS (maybe from another country), I’d really appreciate this.

Thanks in advance, Moin.
