@mike_service - You’re post is not very clear at all to me, especially this >> “CSME 300 C240”?
What is this systems full exact model name?
Please link me to the BIOS download page (Not direct BIOS link) for your model
Tell me what BIOS version you are using now, and what older BIOS version you want to downgrade to.
Do you have flash programmer, such as CH341A or other? If yes, Please upload dump from only those two chips in single max compressed zip.
What does “T490S” have anything to do with?
This not related to anything here, unless that is your model, or you are unsure about something in it and wanted me to look?
Hello,
First of all I want to thank you for the answer !
Its a brand new Lenovo X1 7th,model 20QD0037RI with bios firmware N2HET55P and me firmware 12.0.68.1606
I have upload bin files on external link : https //gofile.io/d/HVU9uP
Bios and ME was read and save with Beeprog +,I will like to downgrade bios to Win 7 for personal use.
@mike_service - You’re welcome! Hopefully I can help you out!
Please link me to the BIOS download page at Lenovo, for your exact model. That model "20QD0037RI " is used on many variants, so not helpful.
I just need proper model name to keep this in correct folder, and direct link to BIOS download pages at Lenovo
I also need to know what BIOS version you are using now, and what older BIOS version did you want to downgrade to?
I am on limited internet, and do not need anything extra, please repackage only the dump from both chips by themselves, thanks.
here are the link from Lenovo : https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/bg/en/produ…ame=BIOS%2FUEFI
There no more support for Win 7,all bios for Lenovo X1 are only for Win10.

here you have Bios and ME bin file: https://gofile.io/d/HVU9uP
Thanks, Which old BIOS did you have before that did support Win7? You said downgrade BIOS, to what version?
If you do not have or know old BIOS version, then this may not be possible. They (Microsoft, Intel, AMD) are actively phasing out old legacy hardware and OS Support on everything.
I have one old bios from older generation of X1 which are suported Win7
Thank you !
Bios_W25Q128.rar (5.43 MB)
Nice you have, but what do you mean "Older generation" is that some other model?
If yes, probably cannot be used here, needs to be from this same model.
The bios bin file are from Lenovo X1 6th also with i7 mcu !
But dont have the knowledge to understand such bios file,I have manage to instal Win 7 but after first restart its stuck ,I have check in safe mode and the reason are from classys.pnp
Thank you !
Sounds like not same model, correct??
If you have installed Win7, and then are stuck, probably OS needs edited not the BIOS, you may need modified ISO or to force USB 3 drivers to install etc.
Best to ask for help with that in this forum, provide exact error details/images etc, so users who know about this kind of stuff can help (Sorry, I’m not familiar with this)

* Edit @mike_service
If you program that BIOS to your system, does it boot, and stuff works properly?
If yes, I can swap in your system details, but really, the issue with Win7 on modern hardware is often OS side stuff I mentioned above
On older X1 6th series I have managed to instal Win 7,but on this one 7th with i7 8665U there no more optione in bios for UEFI Legacy or CSM support, its unselectable for secure boot !
thank you !
@mike_service - Sorry, not sure I understand what you mean or did above? Did you flash in some older/other model BIOS? If yes, it may not have UEFI options, thus legacy only (so no need for CSM)
