I have a old Lenovo Ideapad Y470 Laptop which is running Insyde BIOS. The shitty Chinese laptop firm uses a white-list wlan so I cannot use the updated AC7260 WiFi card directly. I have to go through the hack BIOS way. The firm also is too lazy to update the BIOS. I also hope to update the CPU microcode, VBIOS and EFI drivers. Any help would be appreciated. I will start with the backup of the BIOS. Should I backup using CH341A Programmer or using some app?

Latest official BIOS was pulled back by Lenovo comparing to the post I read. The official version now is 2.06 but the above post give 2.12. Not sure why would Lenovo took down newer official BIOSes.
