i have a FUJITSU LIFEBOOK S904 WITH PASSWORD I READ DUMPS 1MO AND 8MO W25Q64FV FOR REMOVE PASSWORD FROM HEX editor
BUT WITH ERROR I FLASH W25Q64FV with RGN firmware It was produced by mistake;
see the pictures; but at first time after flash W25Q64FV and put it in M.B laptop power on but with password.
reflash W25Q64FV with backup original readed from laptop results : power on but has not display
plz you have the solution
I don’t really understand your English. What “password” are you referring to? If you accidentally flashed an RGN then take your original SPI dump, follow the CleanUp Guide and flash it back to fix the ME problems.
Oh Sorry,for my english
hopefully you can help me. I’m new to this forum and was just reading quite a lot of threads so far but now I’m stuck and need your help.
you can do clear me for file attached
in the guide i go step by step until 8. Run FITC again, this time drag & drop the dumped SPI image you want to clean. After it’s done loading: and give me error 22 ( i use FITC v9.5.12.1676 )

fuj s904(w25Q64FV).rar (4.74 MB)
That image is incomplete. The system must use two SPI chips. You need to dump both and merge the two parts into one file (8MB + 2nd) before following the cleanup guide.
i merge two bin on once bin and go unitl step D1 .14 (guide) with success . but now i don’t understand step 15
i do it in my laptop or in the laptop corrupted (laptop corrupted no display)
I followed step by step and got 3 outimage.bin 1mo ;8 m and full image 9 mo
i use programmer for flash 2m and 8mo outimage but not display
If you know you followed the guide correctly and that you flashed both chips correctly then try removing all power from the laptop (AC + battery, RTC is ok) for a few minutes. Then try to boot again. Otherwise, compress and attach your two dumps and the files you built via the guide.
take all my files
backup laptop.rar (5 MB)
merge.rar (4.99 MB)
outimage(1)and(2).rar (4.96 MB)
outimage.rar (4.95 MB)
I was able to build the exact same files as you, which means that you followed the guide properly. Provided that the programmer correctly flashed both chips (have you verified that?), the only remaining is the ME reset which is done as I instructed above: shutdown, remove all power (battery + AC, RTC is ok) and wait for some minutes.
i do all reset but not display
i have eeprom winbond 25q64fv that have OTP part one time programmable
I think this is the problem
i ask you if you have idea for 25q64fvsig is not same 25q64BV
I don’t really know SPI chip details so I cannot help there. I doubt that the SPI has such a protection though. Maybe try erasing first and re-dump to see if it is truly erased.
Yes, this chip has some extra 3x 256B security memory registers than can be locked by OTP bits LB1-3 in ext. status register and also the status register can be OTP locked by SRP0-1 bits. If entire status would be locked then you cannot reflash the chip - did you verified/read back the programmed data?. Also I think that security memory should be keep as is. But if you performed chip erase and security memory registers was not protected then it might data got lost from there. It’s not clear to me from the datasheet if chip erase command also affects it or not. If it lost and BIOS checks this area then you would need to dump this data from another NTB and programm it. My spipgm doesn’t support r/w of security memory yet but shouldn’t be hard to add. I’m not sure if I have such chip for testing…
