I really need your help to sort my bios issue.
I bought a evga x79 dark and bought a e5 2665 ES (QA8Z) to go with it.
But the CPU is B0 stepping so I found out that my board only supports c0 stepping, right now I already got the CPU in my hands. I’m waiting for the arrival of my mobo, so I want anyone of you help me to integrate the microcode to the bios. I searched all over internet I didn’t find any good info ( May be I don’t understand correctly ).
The seller said the CPU works on ASUS P9X79 Pro (BIOS version: 1203) .
All I want is to include the micro code related to this chip to my evga x79 dark 2.11 or 2.10 .

I am not sure, that you will get support here, because we are trying to help users to update existing BIOS modules and not to patch them with the intention to make the mainboard usable with hardware, for which it natively has not been designed.
Nevertheless I wish you good luck!
