Missed webcam after bios upgrade

Since I flashed this BIOS I can’t see the webcam of my Asus S550CM notebook on devices manager. Maybe is a missed module?

Help please, I need the webcam…

@Tony2k :
Who modified the BIOS and which modules were changed?

Hi Fernando! I have bought this bios online after that I deleted my original one by mistake, here you can read all the story… Theoretically this is original bios for my laptop, all works except webcam. I checked also cables from mobo to cam and are ok.

Since the BIOS obviously has been modded by the vendor, you should ask him, which BIOS modules he has changed.

I bought from a chinese website, them only read the mobo, nothing more… Can you tell me at least what’s the bios module of the webcam that I have to search?

I cannot help you with this. Since a webcam is not a bootable device, there will be no Option ROM for it within the BIOS.

So can be only a hardware problem, right?

Probably yes. What does the Device Manager show regarding the webcam?
Is the device detected at all? If yes, has it a yellow flag?

It’s completely missed on Device Manager, I also tried formatting the pc without results.

Are you sure, that the device is connected to the mainboard and not disabled within the mainboard BIOS?
If yes, your chinese vendor has modified one of the system BIOS modules.

Yes, is connected. On the bios there isn’t the option to disable webcam.
