I have a industrial mobo that is running AMI version 2.21.1280 which does not have a option to enable legacy mode to try to boot in older OS’s like Win XP. The bios at the moment is UEFI only and I wonder if it is possible with BIOS modding to enable this functionality.
I haven’t extracted the BIOS from the mobo yet, but found the BIOS on the manufactures website and loaded it into AMIBCP. See the below screen for the boot section under setup configuration.

I already tried the Windows XP UEFI route, but have some issues installing 64bit during textmode install because of ACPI BSOD, so I thought this might be a quicker solution to see if I can get XP running.
